Learn how to manage back pain to improve your well-being. Recent studies on Iyengar Yoga have showed the effectiveness of yoga on minimizing, healing and correcting the underlying causes of back pain. This course will give you exercises you can do to manage pain as well as practices for preventing future pain.
This course is good for those new to yoga, or wanting to get back into yoga. It is also appropriate for people with muscle strain, disc herniation, scoliosis, and both lower and upper back/neck conditions. The class will include both supported poses with traction as well as strengthening poses.
