Hawaiian Remedy Semi-Private Retreat
with Cynthia Bates
October 31-November 7, 2019
Limited to 6 people
Absorb & assimilate the power of the the magical island of Hawai’i in a supportive community with the aid of Cynthia’s expertise in healing with yoga and nutrition. Cynthia will customize a personal plan of yoga practice and nutrition for each student on this retreat. With a small group, Cynthia will be able to do deep work with each of the participants. We will work together and individually over the course of the retreat to unseat and transform long-held issues. The energy of the group, the land and the practice will help you to open new doors in your life, maybe ones you didn’t even know you had! All you have to do is show up and everything else will be taken care of for you.
Are you ready to transform?

Cynthia will design a special menu that meets the individual and group needs of those attending. Cynthia has been offering nutritional coaching for the past ten years. She will bring her personal experience in working with people with complex digestive and inflammatory conditions to this retreat. The food will be prepared with love by the fabulous chef Barbara who lives on the land and tends to many of the gardens. The food will come from the farm and local producers as much as possible. Sample nutritional program:
Anti-inflammatory Meals: Omnivore, Vegetarian or Vegan options available based on individual condition and preferences
Super Probiotic drinks and foods to build a healthy gut flora (lacto-acid bacillus, kombucha, and fermented foods)
Mineralized broths to heal the digestive mucosa (bone broth or vegetarian)
Optional Parasite cleanse with natural herbs
Hawaii Farm Retreat Land is located 10 minutes north of Hilo on the majestic Hamakua Coastline. Perched on the slope of Mauna Kea, the retreat land has a stunning view of the sunrise over the ocean. It is close to the beaches of Hilo as well as Akaka Falls and other natural wonders.
Hawaii Farm Retreat is owned and managed by my good friend and yogini, Jennifer Weinert, who has lived on the Big Island for almost 40 years with her family. Their mission is to take responsible care for the land and all the beings that flourish there. Several streams go through the land. The farm is completely self-powered by solar and the abundant water source is rain catchment that is purified.

Do I need to bring yoga props or books?
There is a fully equipped Iyengar yoga studio onsite so you don’t need to bring anything besides yourself!
