The back leg of Trikonasana is the foundation. Place your back leg outer heel at a wall. Press the outer heel down into the floor (vs. into the wall). What is the effect?
The front leg in Trikonasana helps to support the chest. Use a brick to under the bottom arm so you can energize the front leg to uplift the upper chest
