Prasarita Padattonasana (Spread legs, intense forward stretch) is the last of what we'll call foundational standing poses for now ;-)
We start in with the concave back position with the hands on the floor.
If you cannot get your hands to the floor without bending your knees or rounding your back then use blocks or a chair
Just for fun (my idea of fun and your's might be different....) I am showing some different hand placements that help you to open the wrists and shoulders.
