Hawaii Big Island Yoga Retreat

Join Cynthia for a full week of rejuvenation and transformation on the Big Island of Hawaii. We will stay at the Hawaii Island Retreat's eco-boutique hotel and wellness spa situated on the Northern Koha'la coast.

Shared Hotel Suite ($2100)
Each suite has a spacious bathroom with a large soaking tub and separate shower. These are decorated with turn-of-the-century Hawaii furniture. All suites have private balconies and chairs, overlooking the fragrant garden and ocean. (Airfare and airport transfers not included in price.)

Shared Hawaiian Yurt ($1,800)
Yurts offer a unique alternative to the elegant boutique hotel for folks seeking more simplicity and economy. Nestled within a needled ironwood grove, the yurt village is adjacent to the Hawaiian eco-spa complex and features 7 spacious yurt bungalows, perfect for couples or shared rooming. Yurts have two single beds or one king, and a private toilet and sink. Showers are nearby. (Airfare and airport transfers not included in price.)

Arrival & Departure information?
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018. Check- out time is 11:00 a.m on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Hawaii Island Retreat is usually booked before and after our stay so please call ahead if you would like to stay any additional dates.
Are airfare and airport transfers included in the price of this retreat?
No, they are not. Here are your options for airport transfers: Speedy Shuttle Service (firstname.lastname@example.org), taxi (Kona, Airport or Aloha) or car rental. We will be trying to coordinate some car rentals for the group.
What about food?
Hawaii Island Retreat’s organic gardens and orchards are a living tribute to the Big Island’s bounty of exotic vegetables and fruits. They grow the foods used in their hotel kitchen, from salad greens to lychee and sunrise papaya.
What is the cuisine like?
You will enjoy organic farm-to-table cuisine featuring a menu rich with local accents, whole-grain breads, Pacific Rim dishes, and international menus.
What if I’m traveling alone?
If you prefer to share your room, I will do my best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. Before the retreat begins I will provide arrival times & rideshare information from the airport.
How close is the nearest beach?
The retreat is located on cliffs overlooking the ocean. The nearest sandy beach is 30 minutes away. It is also the most beautiful beach on the island.
Would you like a massage?
As a group participant you are entitled to 15% off of all spa services. You can schedule before to assure you get a time you want or wait until you arrive.
Do I need to bring yoga props or books?
Everyone will be provided with a bolster, mat, strap, block and chair. If you are interested in participating in the philosophy classes you may want to bring a copy of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
Are gratuities included?
Porterage charges have been established at $3.00 per bag each way. This charge shall be billed to individual guest rooms.
Housekeeping gratuity is a suggested amount is $3 per room per day and can also be charged to your individual account.
Meal service gratuity has been included in the cost of the retreat.
